Harambee Gardens

History:

In the fall of 2007, the 5th St garden was constructed through a collaboration between Milwaukee Urban Gardens, Groundwork Milwaukee, Reclamation Food Society,  and community members.  In spring 2008, the 3rd St Grow and Play lot was initiated through a collaboration between Milwaukee Urban Gardens, Groundwork Milwaukee, Cluster Two Neighborhood Association, and MillerCoors employees.  In 2009, we hope to expand both existing gardens, adding a tot lot to the 3rd St garden, and build a third garden in the Richards Hill Cluster.
