Milwaukee Urban Gardens is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to protect, create and develop community gardens and open green space in Milwaukee.

Greenfolks Garden

The Greenfolks Garden originally sprang from the efforts of a small group of neighbors. Their intention was to develop a space in Riverwest that could serve as a place where residents could co-operatively plant, grow, and harvest delicious vegetables and beautiful flowers. As such, the garden is both aesthetically and educationally valuable-contributing natural beauty and an opportunity to learn and share with one's neighbors.

Greenfolks Garden (Riverwest) is a community garden and a community space. We are located on Wright St. between Booth and Holton. We have plots for gardening, seed exchange in the spring, yoga kids in the garden classes as well as other neighborhood events, and often lots of strawberries plants to to share!
