The Hocking Heritage Garden is a community garden located in an urban neighborhood on Milwaukee's north side. It is a community garden of Milwaukee Urban Gardens, SeedFolks Ministry, and the Kujichagulia Lutheran Center. The garden is named in honor of the family that donated the property to MUG. Their wish was to see the lot protected as open green space to provide enjoyment and recreation for residents and the many children who live in the neighborhood. Hocking offers programs for adults and children that teach them about growing food, flowers, respect for the earth and conservation.
