Milwaukee Urban Gardens is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to protect, create and develop community gardens and open green space in Milwaukee.

Mission

Milwaukee Urban Gardens acquires and preserves land and partners with neighborhood residents to develop and maintain community gardens to enhance the quality of life.

Value

Community gardens play an important role in urban rejuvenation and neighborhood stability. By their very nature, they are centers of community activity, creating places that have lasting value and civic meaning, and are a part of the unique experience of urban living.
